Excellent

What might an Excellent portfolio look like?
For Learning in the Work Setting, this might include:
  • explanation and analysis of the process of personal development planning in a wider context
  • using a range of well chosen literature, perhaps comparing PDP models, and applying the theory to the researcher's own work context.
  • an audit of learning needs, this could refer to audits in previous modules
  • range of learning activities, recognising opportunistic as well as formal learning events
  • demonstration of how goals are realistic, for example by describing discussion of goals with a line manager or by applying SMART analysis to the researcher's selected goals
  • annotated evidence of implementation of the PDP
  • evaluation of the PDP process as well as evaluation of the researcher's own plans
